None Were with Him

I was looking for a quote from Elder Holland and came across this “Mormon Message” again. I loved this talk, and loved this video. You’ve all probably seen it, but it is worth watching again.
The thoughts and ponderings of my life.

After a long break, I have decided to start posting again. I’m not sure how often but I’ll try to post something every few weeks.
I have always loved technology but have hesitated launching my own blog. Frankly, who gives a rip about my life, opinions, beliefs and happenings (besides my family of course)? Well I’ve decided to jump on the band “blogging” wagon. There are many reasons but ultimately, I do it for me and my family.
In case you can’t tell (are you blind!?!) and you happen upon this blog, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This blog is extremely skewed to that part of my life. I’m not trying to make a statement, or draw lines in the sand, or even convert anyone. The Church is simply an enormous part of my life and very important to me. You can’t tease out my faith and reveal my secular side standing alone. Inevitably, everything (even football) leads back to the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the Plan of Salvation. I make no apology. This is who I am.
So welcome to my blog, “The Things of My Soul”. Look around, leave comments and suggestions. If you like something please feel free to share with others, just let me know. Thanks!
NOTE: The thoughts, ideas and opinions expressed on this blog are mine and mine alone. They DO NOT represent official doctrine or policy of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Troy, thanks for sharing this. I love your blog and am sharing it with all of my Facebook friends. I hope some of them enjoy it as much as I do.
Thanks Doug. Let me know what they think.
Troy
I will!
